Greg Chant-Hall

Greg is a Fellow of IEMA and chartered environmentalist, with over 20 years’ experience in sustainability and leadership roles, including 11 years with Skanska for the construction division in the UK and globally for Skanska’s project finance-arm.  Greg has worked across the whole project lifecycle from design inception and project development, through construction and asset management, to final divestment, and has the ability to develop and commercialise a strategic vision into tangible sustainability outcomes.  Greg passionately believes in educating the next generation of sustainability professionals and lectures at a number of leading UK universities and business schools.  Greg is a WELL Accredited Professional, BREEAM Assessor and full member of CIOB.


Philippa Gill  

Philippa has over 15 years’ experience with some of the world’s leading private equity real estate firms.  She has worked across the building life-cycle, from development through to asset management, and latterly as co-head of global sustainability for a large US property company.

Philippa sat on the technical committee on the World GBC Report  into Health & Wellbeing in Commerical Offices, and has served as Director of Operations & Human Resources on two occasions.   She is currently a Partner at Verdextra, a boutique consultancy offering financial, operational and sustainability services. Sam Hall

Sam has a passion for delivering organisational change towards sustainability and a proven ability to get results.  With over twenty years experience as a sustainability professional in the construction sector his key skills include developing strategy and policy, implementing ISO14001 and BREEAM, auditing, training, setting and achieving targets.  Perhaps his unique point would be that he is also a qualified counsellor, which gives him a rounded understanding of health and wellbeing.


David Short

David’s 20 year career started advising companies on EHS law and risk management before broadening into sustainability strategy and programs with an increasing focus on health and wellbeing.   David spent 9 years with City law firm CMS Cameron McKenna and 10 years at GE Capital Real Estate as sustainability director across a multibillion dollar portfolio of commercial real estate assets.  He currently has various consulting roles, is chair of the Better Buildings Partnership Lender Sustainability Working Group and is a partner with clean energy law firm Lux Nova.
